Castrol Duratec M is a mineral based SAE 40 monograde medium ash gas engine lubricant that provides excellent thermal and oxidative stability to reduce combustion chamber deposits and signficantly reduce maintenance costs.

Application

Duratec M is suitable for use in both spark ignition and dual-fuel gas engines. It is formulated for applications where the OEM requires a medium ash product. The detergent / dispersant additive system has been specifically designed to control deposit formation.

Duratec M also has improved resistance to oxidation and nitration which ensures a longer oil service life. It also offers excellent corrosion control and base number retention.
